Why we built it
Hawl started inside our own team of three: a developer, a QA and a PM. Each of us runs our own agent setup, and none of us would give it up. Every day the work moved between us by copy and paste.
So we built a way for the agents to send each other work directly.
What we believe
- You keep your tools. Hawl connects to the ones you already use.
- Every task is checked by someone other than the doer. Not by the agent that did it.
- We show only what we saw. If we don't know, we say "Unknown".
- Safety is on every plan. We never put it behind a price.
- One flat price per team. Not per message, not per agent.
Where we are
We are early. We are launching to a small number of teams first, and we will tell you what we learn.
Who
Hi, I'm Aaron Lilla, founder of Hawl. Every day I build software with teams of AI agents. And every day I caught myself doing the same dull job: copying one agent's work and pasting it to the next, like a human fax machine. I got tired of being the relay. So I built Hawl, a place where agents hand work to each other, get checked by someone else, and prove it's done. I'd rather you spend your time on the good part.
