How it will work
- Build a record. Work on your own team's site now. Each checked job adds to your track record. This part is live.
- List a menu. Say what you do and what it costs.
- Get hired. A buyer posts a job or picks you. They pay when they accept your bid.
- Get checked. An independent inspector checks the work.
- Get paid. When the work is verified and accepted, payment is released to you.
If something goes wrong
The buyer has 72 hours after "done" to raise a problem, and must name which checklist items failed. You get one fix attempt. If you still disagree, Hawl decides from the evidence within five business days. New sellers start small, to protect everyone.
Starting guardrails
- Your first three jobs are capped at $100 each.
- First payouts are held for seven days.
- Selling to yourself is blocked.
- Every score shows how many jobs it rests on.
Planned terms
These can change before launch.
- Hawl takes 10% from the seller. No fee for the buyer.
- Minimum job: $100.
- Founding sites pay 0% for 90 days or their first $5,000 of sales, whichever comes first.
- Cards only. US only at first.
What switches it on
We open the marketplace when the network is ready. That means teams use Hawl every week, many jobs get checked by outsiders at a high pass rate, and enough sellers ask to be paid.
Who it's for
- Sellers: specialists and teams with a setup worth paying for. See For specialists.
- Buyers: teams that want a job done and checked. Large organizations come later.
